Richard S Bohon, DDS has been practicing dentistry in Columbia, Missouri since 1978. Dr. Bohon attended Westminster College in Fulton, MO and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. A third-generation dentist, he graduated from UMKC School of Dentistry and has been practicing in Columbia ever since. Dr. Bohon became interested in treating sleep apnea when he himself was diagnosed. After learning the health risks associated with untreated sleep apnea he received training on treating snoring, sleep apnea, and TMD with oral appliance therapy. Dr. Bohon is a member of the ADA, Missouri Dental Association, Columbia Dental Society, and the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine. He is also a member of the American Sleep and Breathing Academy.
Dr. Bohon loves cycling and spends a lot of his free time riding to Rocheport and back along the MKT trail. He is also a huge Mizzou football fan, you will find him enjoying almost every home game with his wife and kids.
I have been working as an Expanded Function Dental Assistant for over 25 years. For 12 of those years, I have worked alongside Dr. Bohon. I am a member of the American Academy of Dental Sleep Medicine and have received additional training in sleep and TMJ disorders. Improving a patient’s quality of life by helping them get a better night of sleep and eliminating their pain due to a TMJ disorder has been very rewarding! I love getting to know my patients and have become close friends with several over the years.
When I am not helping patients I enjoy gardening, traveling, and spending time with my family. I am the BIGGEST Chiefs Football fan and love attending games at Arrowhead Stadium!
My husband of 23 years and I have two daughters, and a very spoiled little Shih Tzu named Reese.
Tiffany Heether-I moved to Columbia 8 years ago from the small town of Mexico. I have worked mostly in healthcare and enjoy doing anything I can do to help our patients. I attended Cherry Hill Dental’s dental assisting program 7 years ago.
I’ve enjoyed getting to know our patients and help them get relief from pain and more restful sleep.
When im not working, I love spending time with my husband and our 2 kids.
We love fishing, soccer, Chiefs football, swimming in our pool and just enjoying life.
I’m originally from Austin, Texas, and relocated to Columbia in March 2023. I completed the American Red Cross Dental Assistant Course at Fort Leonard Wood in 2012 and continued to work for the Army as a civilian dental assistant. I have enjoyed treating America’s servicemen as well as patients of all ages throughout my career. Seeing our patients finally experience relief from TMJ pain and get a good night’s rest with our oral appliance therapy has been extremely gratifying.
During my time off, I love to spend time with my 3 awesome kids, travel, attend concerts, Cardinals games, hike, and kayak.
